Talia Rosen

Talia Rosen started writing about board games for her blog, NYC Gamer, in 2005 before becoming a columnist for Boardgame News and later for The Opinionated Gamers.  She was an early administrator for BoardGameGeek and founded the Columbia Strategic Simulation Society in New York in 2004.  

Talia is the designer of First Monday in October, which explores over 200 years of U.S. Supreme Court history, and of the forthcoming tile-laying game Kangaroo Island from Rio Grande Games.  She has prototypes in the works on the 2017 broadcast spectrum incentive auction and the 1974 invasion of Cyprus.  

Talia is an attorney practicing law in northern Virginia.
